No Colour Bar played host to a series of inspirational events, aimed at animating and enriching visitors’ experience of seeing the fine art and objects in the exhibition. The public programme included educational talks, panels, workshops, regular gallery tours and featured a monthly curator’s talks.

 

Key sessions included talks by the exhibition curators, Makeda Coaston and Katty Pearce, and also featured individual artists, writers and publishers, including Eddie Chambers, Errol Lloyd, Denzil Forrester, Fowokan, Sokari Douglas Camp CBE, Donald Hinds, Kadija George, Dorothea Smartt, Arif Ali, Sarah White, Michael McMillian as well as Eric Huntley and FHALMA’s young generation of cultural leaders, Tamar Clarke Brown and Shani Crawford.
